The neighborhood is quickly becoming the core of real estate search. Today, while reviewing search statistics for one of our new sites, the neighborhood search trend was immediately obvious. Searchers were using  the neighborhood name as the core search phrase and appending the words homes, condos, real estate, agents, and maps to further refine search results.

This is a trend that we’re noticing across many of  our neighborhood name sites. The search engines have taught us to type exactly what we’re looking for into the search box and browser window. Potential buyers are  now starting their research at the neighborhood level. Hyper-local real estate marketing is set to explode. Welcome to Neighborhood Name!  As our name implies, we’re all about the neighborhood. Hyper-local is a new buzz word that you’ll be hearing lots about in 2011. We’ve built our business model around neighborhood names because you can’t get more local than the neighborhood. As more real estate buyers and sellers turn to the web in search of info, we believe that our approach to marketing will standout from the crowd.
